800. 40/100 days of portraits..sleeping bunny....

An early start for us today and there's trouble t'mill and has been for a little while and this little man inspired my choice of a new year's resolution to name for the Mono Monday challenge (#MM154)....and it was to try a little toddler logic.....find wonder in everything (his favourite word of the moment is wow!), demonstrate how you feel so no-one is left in any doubt and judge no-one.....

Yesterday I had an interesting exchange with an artist.....someone who is very dear to me and who was full of angst about reactions to work which had been put "out there"....the worst sins against someone who presents their work to the world are indifference and disdain....even if the majority of reactions are positive it only takes one or two negatives to destroy creative  expression .....my heart was full of anger and sadness and I'm sure that the people responsible had no idea what they had done.....we should all resolve to cherish those we care about.....and celebrate their contribution to our world.....

Arron was playing sleeping bunnies this morning as he was running around the house starkers......he loves this game and the sheer delight on his face when the bunnies jump up and hop is priceless.....if I could bottle that joy we would never need drugs to help us feel better...just a dose of joy from and 18 month old....

So to all the artists out there (and there are so many on Blipfoto) I salute you and your brilliance!
