Helenium Joy

Our Heleniums are now peaking at the allotment. We really enjoy them!

We had the afternoon off, so we took the bus to the allotment. Z mowed the lawn, M trimmed the lawn edges with the sheep shears. We also did quite a lot of deadheading. The Wisteria that we moved to a new place this spring, finally had started to grow - we were beginning to think that it hadn't survived the move.

A sunny day with temperatures about +18°C. As we left the allotment around 6PM it started to rain. 18 mm had fallen since last Sunday.
