Golden Apples

Amazing - another sunny day! But very cold, sneaky patches of black ice where yesterday's puddles were. 

We walked by the Tweed in Kelso. These apples were growing in a garden, great clusters of them, in perfect condition. Maybe the birds round here have a superabundance of food this year?

Home now, and the woodturner is blazing. TM cut down another of the weed willows yesterday. It will be replaced by hazels. And the willow will eventually end up in the stove.
