Cattle feeding on the loch shore

Both Cathleen and I developed colds over the New Year so we have gone no distance from home so far in 2017 though we did have a very nice dinner last night at John & Morag's  just down the hill.

I see this view often from the house, though as it is on the other side of the loch it is always a little indistinct.   I was able to capture it today with my longer lens for the Lumix GX-80, a 2016 acquisition which has been an excellent buy and which I use most of the time now, it being so much easier to carry than a conventional SLR yet it performs just as well.
