New Years Day

Went to the pub in town for lunch on a very grey, rainy start to the year. Usually in this Neck of the woods we have a bright, sunny, crisp 1st of Jan.

A highlight of the day was the tomato and harissa soup, it nearly blew my head off. Town was dead. I think it's the first time in daylight I've seen the high street completely empty.

Tidying and sorting at home and now have two bags of donations for the local age concern shop
