Sunset over Knaresborough, with Moon and star
We drove Maria to York this afternoon and then returned as the beautiful sun was setting. Warm in the car, but really cold outside. The road was slowing down near Tadcaster as salt was being spread by the Highway team.
I marvelled at the celestial sky, as there was a golden glow, the Moon and a twinkling star. The Yorkshire Moors are so vast and the clarity is wonderful.
This is not an easy shot to have taken from a moving car window, on my old trusty I pod, but an image that I rarely see, so I wanted to preserve it.
Tea time now, so I am making a pizza, enjoying Michael Portillo's new train journey series, and then it will be time to watch Coronation Street.
Have a lovely evening Blipper friends.
