New Years Walk

We normally have a walk on New Year's Day but the weather so was so bad we didn't manage it yesterday. This morning I had to go to the supermarket which was like Christmas Eve all over again, but I got out for a longish walk this afternoon. Lovely and clear, and I had the pleasure of seeing a very large flock of Lapwings fly over me and a group of Rooks mobbing a Buzzard.
