Slip sliding away

Woke up to another beautifully bright and frosty morning.

Hub and I went for a walk down to the farm for some eggs and decided to walk back the longer route. I took this shot as we headed down the footpath besides the golf range. Nobody driving this morning though.

We had chatted to the farmer whilst buying the eggs, who was telling me that there is a resident kingfisher down by their fishing lakes......think I might have to go investigate :-)

As we turned the corner to head back up to the road, the wind started to pick up a little, boy was it cold!! We'd both got our body warmers on, so our arms were freezing!

Not far from home hub almost slipped over on some ice that he hadn't seen, luckily he managed to stay upright, but one of our eggs was somewhat scrambled when we got home ;-)
