Firle-ing around

Above launch at West Firle on the first flyable day of 2017.  The sun was out and it was glorious, even warm.

The day had you keep your wits about you as the lift cycled - especially as thermals didn't really get established until all the hangies had packed up.  With mostly north and some east I did manage the run down to Bo Beep launch and more importantly back, just, rounding the corner near ridge level.

Oh, and got to fiddle with new (ish) video camera.  This is in stills mode which gives a sort of fisheye instagram look.  I never got to launch for a second flight as wind dropped but video from the ground looked better.
