Sea breeze

A walk on the beach today with the family. It was going to be a nice day, so we'd planned to be up early-ish, by about 9am... but it was such a late one last night at Grannie's (good new year's day dinner!) that it was more like 11.30am before we were all up! The blessing was that it meant D got home before we left and was able to join us.

Still plenty of time to enjoy an *invigorating* walk on the beach, getting blasted by wind the whole way! It was nice watching dogs chasing stuff and the waves coming in and spying Ailsa Craig off the shore. The walk back took a little more effort as it was against the wind - suddenly scarves & hoods created a parachute effect around our heads! All good stuff :)

Too cold and rainy to wait around and snap some sunset shots though... shame as it was a good one.
