I think this might be the first time for a long time that I've woken up on new year's day feeling like I've had a good nights sleep - despite getting to bed at about 3.30am. it was a late breakfast team, but worth the wait! the weather was pants but we went out for a walk anyway and mostly missed the rain. then back to the hoose for scrabble, food, films and gillian and luke's new year quiz. team gladrags & bawbags were pipped at the post in the tiebreaker by winners, the towies, after being neck and neck with the super puppies all the way. more late night scrabble then me and bee stayed up late to watch when harry met sally. a fine start to the year.
