Poinsettia leaf

Was playing around with my new extension tubes today. This is a fallen and curled up little poinsettia leaf. I took the plant to Mom's today as I have never been able to keep one alive. Hope she has better luck. I had better luck today using a tiny tripod and flash. Also not quite as small as the snowflakes I was trying to capture before. The 12 days of Christmas challenge today was square format and my pics are over on Flickr. Back to work tomorrow as we didn't win big in the lottery:(. Better hit the hay soon as 5:30 comes early!
