To bite or not to bite

Every now and again Horatio decides that he won't bother his wee spiky backside with moving to the paper towel lined corner to pee and pees on the fleece liner. And it quickly becomes noticeable...

So here he is, asking slightly grumpily, why do we have to wake him up in the middle of the night (mid-day) just to clean some pee, hmm stupid Verticals?
