Last walk

We went out on our first CTC club ride this morning. On the way there we saw one of our riders - C, hit some ice on a roundabout and go down, luckily she was ok. After much discussion we decided not to go out and a few of us had a complimentary coffee in the bike shop whilst we waited for C's husband to come and collect her. Fortunately she is ok, just a little bruised.

So with the ride abandoned, we were back home early and decided to to Indie for a long walk. It was quite eventful. We saw 2 kingfishers, 2 wire fox terriers (do love these little cuties), another Airedale, a welsh terrier to name a few. We walked along the river bank and let Indie off the lead. He ran around like a made thing. I know this is a little fuzzy, but I like his happy face.

In the afternoon we had a look around an old gnomes apartment complex for Mr PB's mum. it is a 2 minute cycle ride away - so really handy for us. We were both quite impressed and will arrange to take her along later this week.

Our last day of the holidays ended with a lovely family meal. My mum, my sister, Mr PB's mum and all of us devoured a chinese, courtesy of my mum.  Better set that alarm clock :(
