A trip to Windsor today.

We got the bus, which was meant to take half an hour but ended up taking a lot longer - we got stopped just outside Windsor because the Guard was Changing.
Did some banking, then walked over the river to Eton and then along the river and back on the Windsor side.

Got some food from Waitrose and ate it by the river - luckily under a tree, because it rained. Back into town to use up my film, then spent the hour wandering around various charity shops. Got a copy of Anna Karenina - we saw the trailer for the film yesterday and it looked quite good. Since it's always been on my to-read list, it's now my mission to read it all before I watch the film.

Had a coffee in my fave place and read the paper, then caught the bus home. Not before GR posed with a GR postbox.
