We drove home the much longer route today. It was a much more pleasant drive - the mountains were stunning; we saw snow; at one point we were surrounded by a huge flock of sheep and goats who didn't seem bothered about road safety; and best of all there were hardly any trucks.
Thankful for a few days away.
I might just put off the start of term until next week and get lots done tmw. Ofsted will never know....
