On a very chilly night
Didn't do justice to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. I've become rusty with long exposures and don't feel I found a good enough vantage point.
As a result I can see the opening scene of a crime film. Or a book about someone who has fallen off the wagon and observes life with a cynical eye, not a single illusion left to cling on to.
This image evoked a strange concoction of names, tunes and titles - The Leutenant, Harvey Keitel, Steve Buscemi, Charles Bukowski, Raymond Chandler, Chet Baker, Albert Camus...
None of them have anything to do with Bristol of course.
