Tinseltown (not in the rain for once)

A succesful Christmas day - nothing burned or spoiled at dinner although the sprouts tasted odd, which was a shame as the sprouts are my favourite bit!
Lovely gifts, good company and not too much bickering. As good as it gets!

A closeup of the tinsel under my tree, looking twinkly in the tree lights. I can't ever say the word tinsel without this song coming into my head. Not at all festive, but from a time when Scottish music was at it's best in my opinion and a time which has very happy memories for me.
And happy memories are what Christmas is all about!
