Making All
Not too many photos today, but this one was appropriate. Making all, the title of this journal, is racing speak for winning from the front - never losing the lead throughout the whole race. Horses who make all wear their hearts on their sleeves, show a tremendous amount of courage, are not particular glamorous and it sometimes goes horribly wrong, but they do it anyway. I like them.
This is Blaine, who made all (just about) in the Gimcrack, and won by dint of being able to stretch his neck further than the other one - wanting it more, whatever that means when you are a horse.
Here he is, having had buckets of water thrown on to him, going for some hay and a lie down.
