The Monarch Butterfly, aglow in the morning light pauses for a moment - between laying eggs on the swan plant.

While photographed in a domestic garden, this beauty is still a wild part of nature and suitable for the Wild Wednesday challenge - with thanks to Cailleach. 


I know yesterday’s wee bug looks very small on the large expanse of white, but measuring approximately 2 mm it is indeed very tiny.  Thank you for your comments, stars and hearts for this wee star.
