Drove out staithes for a look around and quick walk round the harbour. Pretty but felt too quiet - think there a lot of holiday rentals there. Then a brisk walk along the beach at sandsend- beautiful bay. Back to Whitby for a nice lunch at rusty shears and buying park pur and cheese at bothams. Easy drive back and consumed the pork pie - delicious!
