A Walk in the Woods
Another glorious Winter's day, and Mr PB and I took full advantage by going for a walk around one of our local reservoirs. This one is very pleasantly surrounded by mixed, but mainly coniferous woodland and is very attractive to Goldcrest, Siskin and Crossbills. Sadly we didn't see any Crossbills today, but as well as the former two species, we saw a good-sized group of Bullfinches and lots of Long-tailed Tits.
