this morning we were drinking our tea in bed when the pipes started making alot of banging noises. Turned the CH off & I checked various bits including the header tank in the loft...turned it back on & it has been fine ever since - I've decided it was an airlock so fingers crossed....a few odd jobs done today:

the doors all started squeaking over Christmas so the WD40 was put to good use today. Lots of booze in the garage was brought in because surprisingly we had made room......

Most of the decs are now gone and and we are almost back to normal...

Milder today & over night but tonight prepare for a good frost ...
