Mr Smith's View

Back to work today with a Switch to Manual workshop and a beautiful day in Edinburgh. One of the things we talk about is the Fuji Photo-trail (http://www.edinburghnotes.com/wiki/Phototrail) that was developed in the 1990's between Edinburgh Council and Fuji and how the changes in the city has meant many of the views can no longer be photographed. This is one of the ones that has changed significantly. Originally it was the view down the Royal Mile to Portobello but now there is Adam Smith in the way, courtesy of Sandy Stoddart, and many bollards courtesy of terrorist attack defences that have changed the view.  Looks like Mr Smith has the best view of all.
