Evening reminiscing

Hubby and I took the dogs for a walk along the cliff top tonight, and as we sat there we thought about my dear relative in NZ who was laid to rest today (see FarmerGirl's blip) and also my friend's slow but good progress after her terrible car accident. She came out of ICU today and tomorrow will be able to have visitors...not only family. 
Good news is that today my lovely granddaughter started walking!!  Can't wait to see her again next week when we go to Cape Town for her first birthday!
Life sure is an emotional roller coaster!!!
