Last day in Devon before the long trip home.
We took a walk up to the beacon on the hill outside the village. It's a favourite walk and the views around are stunning.
This is our teenager with Plus One who joined us for the trip. They look cozy together but I'm told they are Just Good Friends. Anyway, it was as lovely having her along and good company for the teenager.
Our day ended with the long haul north. The motorway was hideous all the way passed Bristol but then eased up. So it has been a 7 hour drive down and was a 9 hour drive back up. Listened to a dramatisation of A Christmas Carol which was very enjoyable and seasonal. The teenagers slept most of the way.
