Love

Went to a stunning new play today at the NT:- Love. It is set in a council hostel for homeless families. Two families and a few refugees are dumped in here, each having a tiny room and all sharing a communal area. Scrambling to get into the one toilet. Sharing a fridge, with each having a separate shelf.

The best thing is that there is no political ranting or having a polemic rammed down your throat. You are left to come to your own conclusions. Which is what makes it so powerful.

And outside was this little girl being helped by her Mum to walk along the wall. A depiction of true love.
