Mersey Virgin Birth

For all the Scousers out there; the River Mersey is born every second of the day under the M62 motorway, next to Stockport Town Centre at the confluence of the River Goyt and River Tame. The river then spends the next few seconds of life flowing under the Mersey Way Shopping Centre, then travels on up through Manchester. 

My first photograph captured with the exposure set to shutter priority; in this case 1 second. 

Incidentally, on my way I paid some cheques into the bank that had been sitting on my desk for over a month; one was a utility refund for 26p.
