Great Cormorant(Phalacrocorax carbo)

This Great Cormorant is drying his wings and showing of his oily black plumage. This bird is not in breeding plumage, unlike the other Cormorants that were preening and resting with him on a concrete island in the middle of the park lake. I think he looks a little bit like a mythical beast a dragon almost!
