Lonesome pine

The Surrey lanes are narrow and twisting and it is very unusual to find a safe place to stop. This morning however I was able to blip this solitary pine tree from a rare straight stretch of road. I didn't like to stop long enough to get out of the car so I took it out of the car window
I was on my way to Shere on a bright but cold morning. I needed to visit the Shere Shop, one of my favourites. The picturesque village looked lovely in the sunshine and you can see the church lych gate in my extra.
