Twisted Words

This notice appeared in the (new) front window of what used to be our village shop.

The owner applied for planning permission to change the use to a private dwelling which was refused as although it had been closed for a couple of years now it was still a village asset which could open again, something we all want.

We have watched the work  going on for some time now completely re-vamping the whole building, apparently just within the realms of the planning regulations, and today this notice appeared stating that “This retail unit is currently being used for the display of classic motorcycles . . .” – see extras.  I suspect they will be in the corner of his living room?!

At least the twisted words have given me a subject for Abstract Thursday.

Extra photo heavily adjusted with PS as the window is top of the range reflective double glazing with the notice in the inside so can hardly be read on the outside . . .  (Ok so was the blip . . .)

Many thanks to Ingborg for hosting Abstract Thursday AT80
