A Frosty Start
Mainly down to the clear skies with only the vapour trails picking up the colour of the rising sun.
I had taken out the macro lens to get some frost shots, but despite it claiming to be -4C there wasn't actually that much frost about. In fact, the laurel stump covered with small brackets was the most interesting thing I saw on the morning walk.
On the afternoon walk it was the much bigger mushrooms which surprised me ...... they are remarkably long lived and unchewed.
SWMBO fell back to sleep this morning after the alarm went off.
I was a good husband and went and dealt with the monsters myself.
It was after 10.30 when she surfaced....... and was asleep again by 12.45!
But it was obvious she wasn't feeling well and proved the point by waking up feeling sick. She wasn't - but did sleep in the toilet for a while before returning to the sofa.
It was the next time she woke about 3.45pm that she was sick.
I brought her home and put her to bed and I do not expect to see her again until I retire for the night.
Hopefully she will feel better in the morning as she has an appointment at the hospital for cardiac bubble scan and I don't think they will do it if she is in the same state as today.
