He needs some assertiveness training

This little fellow sits in the window box by out front door. All visitors have to pass him to get into our home.
We invited a few people in for old year drinks this afternoon and about 30 people totally ignored this chaps instruction. 
A really pleasant time chatting to people we seldom see, nibbling nibbles and drinking fizzy plonk.This village is full of nice folks
