Flight from the city

It might not be my beloved River Tay view but this A46 river of light is the view I grew up with and tonight I saw it through a new light.. A super clarity LED streetlight light!

Around this most outer bypass of Leicester theres a few spaces where you get the impression of the city limits finally being reached... Its not THE final concentric ring to to speak but the periphery is truly perceptible in places like this.. A feeling fully enhanced by the LED streetlight's coverage illuminating this hinterland and fading beautifully into the night.. 

The city is a hinterland in waiting... The hinterland is a city in the making.
