Red Bellied Woodpecker

This red-bellied woodpecker and it's partner have been going to town at the feeder the last couple of days.  Wonder if they are getting ready for the arctic blast we are to get this weekend?!

I spent some time out in the yard getting some areas ready for the deep freeze.  I cut back our Miss Edna hibiscus and Confederate Rose hibiscus.  Some of the stems were almost 3" diameter and so when I was done, I was also done in!

I started packing up some of my nativity scenes but it has been slow going.  It is especially slow as I have been setting them up on black velvet and photographing them
