RISK Legacy 4

Fourth RISK Legacy game played.
To begin with we used the new starting cards we gained in the previous session, which made the whole starting business a lot more complicated but interesting too (each in turn may choose extra troops, first or later placement, first or later turn, faction, coins already gained). Tarek started traditionally in South-East Asia, and I in Brazil and Kobe in South Africa, Leander in the United Kingdom and Hannes in Alaska. All five scar cards were played rather quickly. Hannes took the whole of North America and asked me if I planned to attack him in the near future. I answered yes, because he had only one troop in Central Amerika. He answered with placing a biohazard scar (you loose one troop at the end of your turn) on my territory of Venezuela. An insult I answered with putting another biohazard scar on his HQ in Alaska. The others placed mercenary scars (+1 troop at the end of your turn) in the United Kingdom, Madagascar and South-East Asia.
Hannes was weakened in North America by me and Leander and was ultimately knocked out of the game by Leander, taking all his coin cards, but could replace his troops in northern Asia.
Finding North America a difficult terrain to fight over (because of all the scars), I decided to attack Kobe in North Africa (multiple times) and managed to finaly take it, while spreading my troops very thin across the board. After this he tried to wipe me out but couldn't take Venezuela and Central America. This made the way free for Leander to wipe us both out and take the win in this game. As it was the second time he won he founded the city of Sir Price (his last name) in the United Kingdom and we were allowed to open up another envelope, which contained extra event cards (had only one this game with no effect), some very interesting mission cards (including a World Capital and the possiblity to place a new sealine between any 2 ocean-facing territories). As no minor cities are left to found, Tarek and Hannes added one coin to a territory card. Kobe and I were eliminated, so nothing to do there for us.
The possibility existed even to open up more than one enveloppe, but Leander refrained from putting 30+ troops + Missile on the board or Tarek, Leander and Me of using our missiles during the same attack.
After this episode, the boards seems rather full with scars, what will the future bring
