Alien

This is a little glass octopus that holds immense sentimental value for me. Nearly fifty years ago, my family visited Brighton Pier where a glass blower was creating all manner of creatures at the request of tourists. I asked for a rabbit. My sister, with more originality, asked for an octopus. And here is the result, remarkably with all legs intact despite the passage of so much time.
