Epiphany At Theodor Heuss PLatz.

Theodor Heuss would be very pleased that so many wonderful things take place here. It's a spot where there's always much to be seen & enjoyed.One of the happiest spots in Berlin infact. Today was brilliant sun , clear blue sky ( see the background) yet very much minus grad & lovely to meet this group of children and  adults , dressed up to celebrate Epiphany. They sang and gave so much pleasure .Three of the youngsters were in a camel costume which had been made by one of the mothers. People gave money and everyone was that much happier for  this celebration of the Three Kings . Known as the Sternsinger they work for peace projects around the world.( the link is in German but you'll get the idea from pictures) Their day  began with a visit to Bundespräsident Gauck in Berlin. All money goes worldwide to 1,550 projects  for children.
Children helping children is rather a good way to work .
