Opportunity Buzzes

The camera is never quite there when you need it, is it?  The local buzzard landed on the lawn this morning in search of some bread, but took off before either of us were with a camera.  He flew off into one of the trees in next door's garden and we knew he wouldn't stay long, so this is on maximum zoom through the kitchen window.  I like the way he is poised for flight!

A day of trying to sort a few things for Dad.  He is in one of his wanting to do things moods so we had to try to sort out why Word is not working on his computer because he wants to write to the TYM.  Then he said his Kindle has stopped working so we thought an iPad might suit him as he could surf in front of the TV then as well as reading his Kindle Stuff.  Found a reasonable deal at Argos, but of course they were all out of stock.  Then we had to investigate why his rear wash wipe wasn't working again, third time this week, think it's all to do with being frozen.  Then he asked what he should do with the two firearms he'd got in his loft......  WHAT?  I said I'd put that on the list for next week...

All in the day of a dutiful daughter and son-in-law...
