Marine architecture is always something that fascinates me. This is on the Royal Yacht Britannia, moored at Leith. A tour of the ship is quite something. The abiding feeling that I had though was of slight unease; several hundred people people worked their socks off, often in cramped unpleasant conditions to satisfy the every whim of a few privileged royalty. Everything had to be just-so and particular. Makes you think.
