If you go down to the pond today....
...the buzzard will perch magnificently right until you s-l-o-w-l-y reach for the camera...and then off he'll flap. The Eagle eyed amongst you might still spot him.
I was out very early for physio, and to be honest the sunrise didn't give a hint at how nice the day would turn, I'm really pleased I stopped at the frozen pond as I saw little of the remainder of it.
A day of running errands has resulted in a lost wallet. I should point out that I (obviously) involved Mrs IttH in searching for it to make sure it wasn't "man lost"* , when it couldn't be found anywhere, and hasn't been handed in, I began the joyless process of cancelling cards, driving licence, professional cards etc etc.
*Man Lost
I used to think this was just me, I put it down to my OCD tendencies. Subsequently I've discovered I am far from alone....
My default position once I discover something is not in its designated place is that it is of course irretrievably lost. I will often be annoyed, arms will be waived around and there will be huffing. All (my) attempts to find it will of course prove futile. I can pause and rationalise that on many (too many) occasions Mrs IttH has proven this to be false & indeed seems to take quite a joy in waving said items at me, but it still remains my immediate gut reaction. Over time I've even learnt to suppress my "you must have hidden it" response ;)
