Reyes!

Three Kings day today...Asha discovered a couple of gifts in her boots, as is tradition...left by the Kings, aka, Mommy & Daddy! Mid morning the 24-7 team came over and we enjoyed a Roscón which is the traditional cake, shaped & decorated like a crown (see Flickr for a pic)... Asha found the figure of the king in her slice, so got to wear the paper crown...Danny unfortunately had the bean in his, so had to pay for the cake!
We all wandered around the outside of the Old Town walls, including a lady who's out visiting our community... Lovely to wander & natter in the sunshine.
The rest of the day included a late lunch of salmon, and an afternoon film as a family. A brilliant brilliant day...Christmas is officially over. Helpix, life will be back to normal now, no more playing with Kings! Ha!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Living in a country that knows how to celebrate.
2) The smell of the sea and wild growing herbs as we wandered around the walls. Some moments feel exquisite - that was one for me today.
3) Asha now deciding vegetables are the best thing ever. About time!
