Sisters in Law

There's quite a lot to share again face to face; happy and sad news as these pass hand in hand through our lives. It's three years since their last reunion, then in Down Under, now here in Holland, for these sisters-in-law who are my mum and Don's sister.

They've come into one another's life half a century ago 'cause of their brothers who fell in love with one another, that happened in Melbourne where both had settled and eversince lived together till death did part them.

Their sisters are here in this blip, one from Perth in Aussie and the other, my mum, from here in Holland; in their lifetime my uncle and his beloved could not marry as they'd wanted, but to us they were a couple and we sometimes used words that relate to that - like spouse and partner and in-laws; but calling them by their name ofcourse we mostly did.

Apart from letterwriting and making phonecalls to one another the overseas relatives met and meet one another when at close range.
