The Ship That Never Sailed

We paid a brief visit to Blackness this morning, in hopes of getting a picture of all three Forth Bridges from the Castle. The wall surrounding the keep comes to a point like a ship's bow, and it juts out into the river - hence 'the ship that never sailed'. 

But it was closed. Very disappointing for the family from Madrid, who'd were only in the UK for five days and had travelled from London specially to see where scenes from 'Outlander' were filmed. 

And I ended up with a shot of the sky, which was changing from blue to black and back again in the space of minutes.
