Mum

Boxing Day. All family together. All going well.......... Mum (94) comes back into the dining room and says "I've lost my rings." And indeed her engagement ring and eternity ring were not on her finger. Restrained panic followed. Penny then had the brigh idea of tipping out her handbag and tote bag. Phew - her hands are cold and smaller than they used to be. She must have put her hand in her bag to get something and they just slipped off. Anywhere else and the would be gone forever. So we went round to see Robin (Shelly's dad) and he has made here engagement ring smaller. So that it fits better. Still a stonker of a ring methinks!
