go on without me

Given that it's at least twenty-two years old it's quite acceptable for the handle to have finally broken off my favourite mug, especially when it did it during the low-risk activity of being washed rather than when it was being used to prevent a pint of hot tea being spilt over legs, feet and carpet on the way up the stairs or when being used to sip the tea whilst attempting to persuade a video editing application to not crash. I suppose I'll have to find another mug somewhere now that both remaining pint mugs have no handle but I don't expect it to be an easy task.
