Glass Stairs

My, almost 4, granddaughter and I had a special day together today. Normally she has to share my time with her older brother and baby sister.

We ventured into the city by train.
She was so excited and her anticipation of dark tunnels was so cute.

She loved these glass stairs and would like to go up and down them again one day.

We had lunch. When I asked her where she would like to have lunch, her answer was - "where we always have lunch when we go into the city of course" - silly me. Usually her brother is with us.

We went home via the bus.

A great day for both of us.
