Squirrel with a Dirty Nose

A dull, cold, wet day, not ideal for taking photographs, but that is what I have been doing for much of the day for the course I am doing which today involved taking twelve pictures spaced about an hour apart. Rather difficult when there is not much daylight.
 
Today’s picture is of a squirrel with a dirty nose. It is dirty because he kept burying nuts in the earth. On two occasions I saw him actually cover the nut with grass and leaves after he had finished burying it. Taken through the window, so contrast is not very good.

The nut box was full this morning, now many of them are buried in the garden, probably never to be found again!
