Boxed seats
Another Sunday, another Edinburgh church. I thought I really ought to hear my colleague lead a complete service sometime, so turned up here when he was preaching.
A church on the outskirts of the city with a long history and Templar gravestones. The present building has pews downstairs, but the gallery is boxed, and has chairs rather than pews. I'm not convinced about the comfort of these chairs, and the gallery is scarily close to the pulpit etc. Very intimidating.
Close enough to my house to walk to, and my aunt and uncle worship here, so it was nice to see them.
