Rolling in

Briefly, it looked as if it might be a bright day. There was blue sky, and in places there was sun shining. But this great fog-bank wasn't going - it was coming, like some B-movie fog. By midday we were swathed damply in it, and it remained till after dark.

Now the sky has cleared and Venus is once more bright enough to encourage a Wise Man or two ...
